In a foundational precursor to the 1.0.0 milestone, creator Omniscye shipped a major update introducing native Android builds alongside cross-network online multiplayer and critical combat resource mechanics.

The Android release brings dedicated support for Android 8.0+ mobile devices in landscape orientation. To ensure intuitive mobile gameplay, players receive comprehensive touch customization: the virtual analog joystick, Dodge dash button, four move triggers, and party switcher can each be freely repositioned, resized, and adjusted for opacity to match any phone or tablet grip.

Competitive multiplayer took a huge leap forward with the rollout of Online Private Battles. Powered by public PeerJS signaling and end-to-end encrypted WebRTC peer-to-peer handshakes, players can generate an EMPRESS1 invitation code, send it to a rival anywhere in the world, and jump straight into synchronized head-to-head competition without third-party account signups.

Battles also received critical balance additions for resource attrition. If a Pokemon exhausts all move PP, it automatically casts Struggle—a typeless, close-quarters physical bash that incurs recoil damage on hit. Simultaneously, violet PP Orbs now spawn on the battlefield every 10 to 14 seconds (up to 2 concurrent orbs), granting attentive trainers an opportunistic 1 PP replenish during protracted standoffs.
